The Standing-Desk Cable Mess
- The Problem
- Every cable behind a standing desk fights gravity differently. Cheap clips fall off. Zip ties don't survive the desk moving up and down twice a day.
- The Solution
- A two-part oak-and-PETG tray that clamps to the underside of the desk, flexes with the desk's rise and fall, and holds six cables without touching a single one of them directly.

The Story
We built this for one desk, sketched it in an afternoon, and printed the first version before dinner. Eighteen months and two redesigns later, it still hasn't dropped a cable.
The tray was never meant to be a product. It solved one desk. But every desk we tried it on after that had the exact same problem, so we kept the design.
